We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Customer Service Representative in Pasadena, California. As a key member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service. You'll handle customer inquiries, process orders, and maintain customer relationships, all while contributing to the growth of our business in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle customer orders received via phone, mail, fax, or email.
• Provide detailed product information to existing customers, aiding them in selecting suitable merchandise.
• Keep customers informed about unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any other relevant information.
• Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations surpassed.
• Collaborate with the warehouse/shipping departments to manage large or unusual orders, ensuring delivery is completed by the specified dates.
• Contribute to the development of new business and sales by preparing compelling proposals for existing customers.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit information.• Position: Customer Service Representative
• Requires a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or field
• Proficient in providing exceptional customer service
• Possess effective communication skills for clear and concise information exchange
• Proficient in computer data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and speed
• Intermediate computer skills are required, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software
• Knowledge or experience in the logistics industry is highly desirable
