We are in the process of recruiting a Customer Service Representative based in Denville, New Jersey, United States. This role is within the logistics industry and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be required to handle tasks related to order picking, customer coordination, shipment scheduling, and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
• Picking orders according to FEFO requirements and coordinating with customer service.
• Routing and scheduling customer truck orders, in collaboration with various warehouses.
• Creating labels for FedEx/UPS/DHL shipments as needed and ensuring timely follow up on missed shipments.
• Booking trucks for inter-warehouse transfers and managing monthly consignment shipments.
• Confirming receipt of BOL’s and forwarding them to customers.
• Invoicing regular and drop shipments and updating customer pricing in Navision.
• Providing support to Customer Service through cross-training in order entry.
• Assisting with inbound shipment processing and approving invoices for carriers and couriers.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with key carriers and outside warehouses.
• Resolving inventory discrepancies with warehouses and providing regular reports to warehouses and customers.• Proficiency in Order Entry
• Ability to review and manage invoices
• Knowledge of UPS Shipping operations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
