Heating Solutions Sales Company (HSSC) is a complete sales and support company that represents some of North America’s leading boiler brands: US Boiler, New Yorker Boiler, Governale Radiation, Burnham Commercial Boilers, Thermal Solutions Boilers, and Bryan Steam boilers. We are currently launching world-leading technologies into the growing condensing boiler markets with a goal of delivering quality comfort to residential households and commercial buildings across North America. We are striving to dominate our markets and we have an exciting position open for a marketing expert to help us.
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team! This position will support the sales team by providing services to customers, salespeople, and management. The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and solid computer skills.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM; Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM. A hybrid schedule is available after a 3-month training period in the office. This position will be working out of our Thermal Solutions location when required to be on site.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processes orders for material or merchandise received by mail, telephone, or personally from customer’s salespeople or company employee. Must be detail oriented and be able to prioritize workload and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible for handling telephone calls from customers and salespeople. Good communication skills are required
- Obtains answers on delivery, price and availability of product
- Assist sales regions(s) with order planning, coordinates shipments and assist in completing customer transactions
- Develop relationships with customers and salespeople/representatives
- Processes request for customer literature
- Follow up on orders and customer inquiries and inform customers of unit prices and shipping dates
- Answers inquiries regarding Return Material Authorizations and Product Performance Reports
- Ensure accuracy of information in the computer room
- Assist other customer support staff as required
- Enters customer orders. Must have solid computer skills and be able to navigate multiple screens and use different software programs with ease
- General office duties include but not limited to, filing, faxing, copying, etc.
- Must be a team player with good time management skills and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or customer service environment preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Word & Excel preferred
