Job Summary: To perform accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services for various clients of the firm

Major Responsibilities:

• Record business transactions and maintain the general ledger, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accruals and journal entries
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare payroll for clients
• Prepare and file sales tax returns
• Communicate directly with clients in person, email and via phone
• Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAP) and financial regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
