The Accounting Manager is a key part of our team - In this role, you will perform, review, and oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and business advisory services for our clients. You will manage, mentor and motivate your team to provide quality work with meaningful tax planning strategies and business guidance in a variety of industries. Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships by providing the highest level of service, design and oversight to the clients we work for.

What you will do:

  • Provide and manage accounting services and business consulting, including bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, etc.
  • Train, coach and develop employees in areas of accounting and tax.
  • Oversee the ongoing operations of the team, identifies and implements changes to accounting procedures, implements quality controls.
  • Preparation of financial reports using advanced accounting knowledge; propose, explain and enter journal entries.
  • Provide business advising, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, internal controls, & tax planning.
  • Develop relationships with clients and gain understanding of their finances and businesses.
  • Utilize accounting software to prepare financial reports for clients.
  • Interpret financial reports provided by clients, and within accounting software.
  • Build knowledge of tax laws and accounting practices to better serve our client’s needs.
  • Develop and execute retention and growth plans, operations strategies and help the organization achieve its objectives and goals.
  • Review, analyze and implement business practices that will improve firm performance.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to clients, employees, industry and community.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential for business operations


What we look for:

  • 5 - 15 years professional accounting experience, preferably across multiple clients and industries.
  • Superior accuracy and technical expertise, knowledge of client industries.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong analytical skills
  • Expert use of accounting software & systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem solving and project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
