The Role

The Accounting Assistant you will work closely with the Controller and will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions for ExThera Medical. The responsibilities will include entering and reconciling invoices to the POs, generating sales invoices, preparing reports, expense reimbursements and other functions needed to run the accounting department smoothly.

This is a part-time remote role working on average 30 hours a week. 

A Few Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile invoices to the POs, identify discrepancies and enter into our ERP system- Syspro.
  • Process the accounts payable emails and respond to inquiries.
  • Process and mail the checks to Vendors.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements to Syspro.
  • Reconcile the credit card statements.
  • Reconcile various vendor account statements.
  • Generate sales invoices for customers.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Capture the expense reimbursement reports from Rippling.
  • Prepare journal entries and get it approved by the controller and post in the system.
  • Assist with projects and perform other duties and functions as requested.
  • Responsible for performing work activities in accordance with the procedures and requirements of ExThera Medical’s Quality Management System and Quality Policy and strive to achieve the Quality Objectives applicable to this position

Relocation benefits are not offered for this role. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Martinez, Ca is $26.00 to $30.00/hr.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by laws.
