Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Hybrid Accounting Manager job opportunity located in Irvine, CA 92612 zip code! Pay rate: $ 60.00/HR Shift: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm Length: 5 months with possible extension Job Summary: Support the Company’s general and financial reporting function; and assist in the coordination and preparation of schedules for the Company’s quarterly review and fiscal year end audit by its external and internal auditors. Preparation and review of financial statements and footnotes in to assess consistency with US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) depending on jurisdiction. Significant involvement and work during financial closes to prepare and review parent company line reporting, financial reporting, and parent company consolidation support. Assist in the coordination of workflow management of the close process and monitoring of internal control compliance using software and other tools including Blackline, spreadsheets, Oracle, and other tools in accordance with SOX and Company policies and internal controls. Prepare or review international branch financial statements. Responsibilities Accounting & Audit Management Support audit matters with external auditors including providing and supporting quarterly reviews, and annual audits. Coordinates accounting support for internal and external audit projects and audit requests, compliance assessments in accordance with SOX requirements, support of the Company’s accounting approaches. Works with general ledger staff to maintain the company's general ledger and internal financial reporting. Ensures accurate integration of data imported into systems and supports the analysis objectives of financial analysts through coordination on reporting and offering insight on technical accounting matters as they arise. Prepares and reviews ad hoc and monthly financial reports to the parent company, unaudited Financial Statements for internal and external users, and Statutory Financial Statements for local jurisdiction financial reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant (active status) required 5 years of diversified accounting experience. 2 years in an accounting management role. Oracle experience preferred Strong with Microsoft Excel Analytical and problem-solving skills. Broad accounting knowledge. Excellent organizational, communication and internal/external customer service skills. Critical thinking skill, flexible approach to challenges. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of a variety of factors.
