A Day in the Life of an Accounting Compliance Specialist Do you love organizing and solving challenges? Are you motivated by ensuring compliance and supporting internal teams? If this sounds like you, here's how you'll contribute to our team:

• Support Compliance: Partner with Project Accountants to log subcontractor contract compliance documentation and proactively monitor adherence to contractual obligations.
• Maintain Accuracy: Ensure accuracy in documentation by conducting regular audits and providing feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Administrative Assistance: Support the team by managing filing, copying, scanning, and archiving in line with company records retention policies.
• Process Transactions: Assist Accounts Payable by processing transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and serving as a backup when needed.
• Be a Resource: Develop a strong understanding of various business processes within the Accounting department and step in to provide support where it's needed most.

What You Bring to the Team

• An associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
• A minimum of 4-5 years of administrative or accounting experience (construction industry experience is a plus!)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF file manipulation
• A service-oriented mindset and a desire to support your teammates
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues
• Tenacity to follow through, meet deadlines, and get the job done
