We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate/AR Specialist to join our team. This role has minimal collections calls, and a strong focus on researching and resolving incorrect customer deductions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy.

Duties

• Research and resolve incorrect deductions
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and submit bank deposits electronically and in person
• Create and maintain various cash receipts and accounting Excel spreadsheets that drive journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform other duties of position that are not listed above and as needed by management
• Backup for other accounting positions
• Monitors outstanding accounts receivables and follows up on past due accounts (minimal)
