What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a central liaison for the Closing Services team, ensuring accurate and timely communication of closing-related information
- Monitor escrow trust accounts for incoming wires, distribute them to appropriate teams, and manage outgoing wires to support closings
- Serve as the main contact for escrow accounting and reporting functions, including banking administration tasks like wire management, Positive Pay, and check stock maintenance
- Process escrow losses, advances, and assist with outstanding invoice collections
- Research and resolve accounting errors, collaborating with Escrow Administrators to address discrepancies
- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliation reviews, coordinating with management to correct findings
- Review reports and work with management to ensure timely and accurate responses
- Assist with Unclaimed Funds due diligence and 1099 information corrections
Who we’re looking for:
- Strongly prefer candidates with banking or title industry experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required
- Demonstrates excellent customer service by collaborating with the Closing Services team, resolving issues, and managing diverse personalities
- Maintains meticulous attention to detail to prevent costly errors and protect the company’s reputation
- Thrives in performing repetitive tasks while applying critical thinking to ensure accuracy
