We are seeking an Accounting Manager!

Job description

 

Duties
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Review and approve journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making
- Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management

Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and accrual accounting
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting preferred
- Familiarity with technical accounting standards and regulations
- Experience with accounting system such and Sage 50/Peachtree, QuickBooks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
