Time Commitment: 15-20 hours/week, distributed across 4 days, as determined by workflow.

About Multiplication Network Ministries (MN)

Multiplication Network Ministries (MN) is a Christian charitable organization focused on training church planters worldwide. Our mission is to establish healthy churches that represent the Kingdom of God in every community. In 2023, we were blessed to see 11,808 new churches planted across 71 countries. We are currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join our Finance Team.

As an Accounting Associate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of God's Kingdom by supporting the financial functions of MN’s global operations. The ideal candidate will be someone who faithfully responds to God's calling and demonstrates Christ-like attributes in both technical skills and interpersonal interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews Excel-based International Expense Reports and Budgets vs Actual Spreadsheets

• Ensures timely receipt of reports, adhering to the monthly reporting requirements

• Verify accuracy of reports cross-referencing with wires, receipts and assigned categories

• Follow up on reporting items, such as missing receipts, illegible receipts, incomplete reports

• Request wires for all International Hubs

• Works with office staff to request US payments needed for our US reporting Hubs and ministries

• Enter journal entries into accounting software to reflect the wire and payment requests

• Track international reporting using Excel

• Work with the Finance Administrator to learning and conduct training for each International Hub

• Assist International Hubs with reporting using Excel and Expensify software

• Continuously update job knowledge with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

• On occasion, interact via Zoom with individuals in different time zones and languages outside of normal business hours

• Participate in cross-training efforts to provide aid and support for offices duties

• Help with annual US Audit based on financial processes

Education & Experience

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

• Experience with international wire transfers and multi-currency transactions is a plus

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas and spreadsheets

• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Expensify

Language Skills

• Knowledge of Spanish or another language is a plus
