CGP: SR Accountant /Accounting manager Job at Century Group in Irvine

Our client is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, you play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $55 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports.
  
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
  
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure regulatory compliance.
  
• Develop budgets and financial plans based on research and data reports.
  
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
  
• Support audit and tax processes.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers.
  
• Recent SAP Super User experience preferred.
  
• Expertise in general ledger, month-end processes, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  
• Energetic and proactive approach.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  
• Large company and public company experience is a plus.
