Job Description
Wasatch Behavioral Health (WBH), a comprehensive behavioral health community center founded in 1967 and located in Provo, Utah is seeking to find a replacement for the retiring CEO who served for 18 years in this capacity.
WBH is the largest community behavioral health center in Utah serving about 13,000 individuals on an annual basis. Drawing the clientele from Utah and Wasatch Counties, the catchment area encompasses about 720,000 residents. The agency offers a wide range of comprehensive behavioral health services including 7 outpatient locations, two youth receiving centers, an adult receiving center, several residential mental health and substance use programs.
At three of the center locations, the agency is co-located with a Federally-Qualified-Health-Center (FQHC) medical clinic to offer integrated services. The FQHC operates on-site pharmacies at two locations. Additionally, the center provides services in over 130 schools and operates several specialty programs (e.g. Pre-school autism, juvenile sex-offender treatment, Domestic Violence Services, among others).
Wasatch Behavioral Health enjoys an excellent reputation and is well known for its collaborative, community integrative partnerships with schools, police & sheriff departments, Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS), Housing Authorities and numerous other allied agencies.
An agency budget of about $65M dollars supports an infrastructure of about 750 employees (550 FTEs). With the main administrative offices located in Provo, Utah, service locations are spread throughout Utah County.
Utah County is the second most populous county in Utah and offers numerous recreational opportunities. Located about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City, Provo provides amenities of urban living with easy access to Salt Lake International Airport and Provo Regional Airports and while offering a more rural lifestyle.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
