About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of promoting equitable access to the legal system and supporting the advancement of women and communities that are systemically oppressed. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and visionary leader, responsible for organizational planning, implementing strategic goals, and supporting the Board of Directors, Committees, and Chapters. Key responsibilities include financial management, chapter development, public relations, marketing, and membership development. The Executive Director will also serve as the public face of the organization, conduct outreach, and build media relations. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is a commitment to the values of the organization. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have an undergraduate degree or four years of relevant experience, with a minimum of two years in a nonprofit Executive Director role or comparable experience. The role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, knowledge of the legal profession, and experience in fundraising, team supervision, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have a background in combating discrimination, eliminating bias, and advancing anti-racism efforts. Proficiency in computer and internet literacy, including social media, is necessary. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Board of Directors, Committees, and Chapters to ensure the organization's goals are met and to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
