About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of connecting people to the outdoors through community-centered experiences. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for the overall operations and management, including financial oversight, program supervision, and strategic direction. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include fostering an organizational culture rooted in the values of anti-racism, collaboration, growth, inclusion, play, stewardship, and well-being. The role involves serving as the primary spokesperson, cultivating new support, and managing critical community partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors and adventure sports, a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a proven track record in leadership, fundraising, and staff development. The ideal Executive Director for the company will have 7-10+ years of leadership experience, with a strong background in inclusive organizing, program development, and financial resource management. They should be adept at building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and have a successful history of philanthropic fundraising. The role requires a leader with strong business acumen, capable of managing operating and capital budgets and ensuring the organization's continued financial health. The Executive Director will also be involved in the development and execution of a variety of outdoor events and will be instrumental in the stewardship of the company's world-class trails and facilities.
