Account Executive
- We are an independent information security company, and one of the very few providers able to provide clients with a “one-stop-shop” for all of its security compliance needs (PCI, SOC, ISO, FedRAMP/StateRAMP, HITRUST&HIPAA, Penetration Testing, CSA STAR, and Cybersecurity Assessments)
- Our world-class team of Qualified Security Assessors supports leading global technology companies in their efforts to make sure they achieve compliance with PCI DSS and other important security standards.
- Typical engagements include compliance assessments of all types, code and architecture reviews, network vulnerability testing, remediation of security exposures, audit support and compliance, reverse engineering, security policy development and comprehensive training for our clients’ internal security staff.
- We are looking for an Account Executive to join the team to focus on developing new logo business for the company.
- The AE will be responsible for all aspects of managing the sales cycle from opening to close. This includes lead generation, qualification, discovery, proposal writing, proposal presentations, and proactive follow-up with prospects throughout the sales cycle. Lead generation tasks will include penetrating target accounts with cold outreach, responding to Drift chat requests and attending conferences several times throughout the year, which means periodic travel. This role carries a quota and is eligible for Securisea’s commission program in addition to a base salary.
- Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in a sales role. Ideally, this experience will be in technology or information security. The Account Executive role is ideal for successful, highly motivated sales professionals looking to a leap from their first or second sales job into the next level of their technology sales career.
Key Responsibilities
? Generate sales opportunities in target accounts
? Work assigned leads throughout the sales cycle with professionalism
? Lead proposal development efforts for the organization
? Pleasantly persistent follow-up at appropriate intervals with prospects
? Consistently achieve targeted sales quota
Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
? At least 2 years experience in a sales role, preferably in technology, IT security, or a trust management platform (like Vanta or Drata)
? Ability to effectively communicate with internal, external, and cross-functional
teams
? Proven track record of successful selling experience
? Excellent listening, writing & presentation skills
? Sense of urgency and strong work ethic
? Goal oriented and self-motivated
