About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary Executive Director (ED) to lead its national organization. The ED will be responsible for the overall management and operation, ensuring compliance with the Board's directives and strategic plan. This role is pivotal in shaping the organization's structure and services, with a focus on building critical relationships with a diverse Board of Directors and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading an organization with a diverse Board, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in financial oversight for non-profit organizations. Professional integrity, high ethical standards, and fundraising experience are essential. The role requires the ability to travel and a desire to engage with the issues affecting the organization's members. Desired qualifications include knowledge of government contracting, experience in non-profit leadership, and a degree in a relevant field. The ED should be a skilled communicator, a proactive leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, and a self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the table.
