Cybersecurity Architect Job Locations US-MD-Ft. Meade ID 2024-4075 Category Cybersecurity Type Full Time Overview Amyx is seeking to hire a Cybersecurity Architect to join our DOD client. Work will be performed on-site at Fort Meade, MD Responsibilities This postion will require a knowledge and experience with functional are expertise in National and DoD IT Policy. This position must have the ability to design architecture to include software, hardware, and communiations as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirement and interfaces. This position must demonstrate technical knowledge in cybersecurity architectures, information processing transport architectures, and cybersecurity policy. The position must provide guidance to ensure appropriate coordination with cybersecurity and architecture organizations is accomplished to support the mission areas This position will provide support to the Government in assisting coordination and collaboration with external organizations to ensure mission requirements are met. The position shall provide a written report of their technical assessment of meeting discussions and impacts to risk adjudication for new or existing systems. This position shall provide expertise in assisting the organization and projects to ensure they are meeting identified requirements and end states (examples: Bug Bounty, NSCAR, Internet Protocol TransportProvider Edge (IPT-PE) transport). This position must attend a bi-weekly meeting to brief leadership on assessments of systems, applications, and services, and identification of system functions and relationships that support the goals and objectives of the current and future Strategic The position requires having the ability to identify, assess, and present options for meeting functional and technical requiremnts to include hardware, software updates and upgrades, developing high level system design diagrams. Enusring these systems are compatible and in compliance with standards for open systems architecture, the Open System Interconnection (OS), and International Stanars Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of stndars- such as Institue of Electrical and Electronis Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model, -as they apply to the implementation and specifiation of Information Management (IM) Solution of the application platform, across the application program interface (API) adn the external environment/software appliation. Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. This position requires one to evaluate analytically and systematically problems of work flows, orgincation and planning and develop appropriate corrective action. Must have the ability to communicate accurate information Qualifications Required: This poisition requires a Bachelors degree in an IT-related field at minimum. This position requires at least 10 years of relevant expereince with a Top Secret clerance and that ability to be SCI eligible. Certification requirements include having a DoD 8570 IAM/IAT level III.
