In collaboration with the CIO, the Mountain Pacific Cyber Security Analyst II maintains a high level of integrity and is responsible for protecting the organization’s IT infrastructure by monitoring and responding to security threats, performing root cause analysis, and implementing remediation strategies. This role involves managing cybersecurity tools, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining compliance with standards like NIST, FIPS, and PCI-DSS. This position is a Full-time Remote position in Helena, MT. The successful candidate would have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar scope of study with an emphasis in information security, network security, cybersecurity principles with a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred. The target compensation for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 a year. The first review of candidates will be on December 3rd, 2024, and continually reviewed every 5 days after.
