C&T Paving is hiring: CDL Driver in Asheville

C&T Paving has been in business for the last 25 years and has been serving Western North Carolina and the surrounding areas since 1997. We have built a reputation on quality, workmanship, and friendly service.

We are currently looking for a CDL Driver to join our team!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing tasks involving physical labor on commercial, patching/paving projects.
• In addition to driving, the Class A Diver is also expected to load and unload the necessary equipment as well as assist the onsite crew with various tasks as needed.
• Willing to help on site crew with various tasks when not behind the wheel
• Directing traffic to avoid disturbing the asphalt work
• Clearing the area of all equipment and machinery upon work completion
• Operate and control paving machines to maintain a constant flow of asphalt and other materials.
• Ensure all tools are organized and accounted for daily.
• Installation and application of any other materials including line removal.
• May operate trucks to transport equipment to and from production sites as required and assist in the maintenance of all equipment.
• Other tasks/responsibilities will be a part of each job being assisted by a superintendent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL License required
• Experience in Construction
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to use heavy equipment
• Proficiency in driving commercial vehicles
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience required
• High School diploma or GED preferred
