We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support various dental specialties such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and general dentistry as required.
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Certification or training in dental assisting is a plus; experience in pediatric dentistry or endodontics is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
