Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Dental Assistants, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
- Assist dentists during complex dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Oversee the training and development of new team members.
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy in scheduling and treatment plans.
- Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and support.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and infection control regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and management to foster a positive and efficient environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification from an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- X-Ray license.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role is a plus
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- A team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
- Familiarity with dental office terminology, procedures, and patient management software.
