Responsibilities
- Cultivating meaningful relationships with both patients and staff
- Understanding all aspects of how the clinic is most efficiently and effectively run
- Ensuring that patients feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience
- Assisting in the performance of quality and caring clinical dentistry
- Readying the patient and preparing the operatory and equipment
- Becoming dependably adept at assigned clinical procedures
- Assisting the doctor during examinations and treatment
- Accurately recording information in patient charts
- Reviewing medical history, progress, and scheduling treatment plans
- Maintaining instruments, equipment, inventory, labs, and treatment rooms
- Ensuring safety and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it
Qualifications

- Outstanding customer service skills with proven relevant experience
- Previous experience with chairside dental assisting preferred
- Coronal polishing/sealant/nitrous/CPR certifications a plus
