Parman Tractor & Equipment is looking for a Rental Sales Rep to work in the Metropolitan Nashville and greater Middle TN region. The role of the Rental Sales Rep is to prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with construction equipment rental opportunities within our area. Our rental fleet consists of late model compact and heavy-duty construction equipment from proven brands like Takeuchi and Linkbelt Excavators.

Responsibilities:

• Build and cultivate new and existing rental relationships throughout Middle TN
• Understand competitive landscape and establish customer rates for various equipment types through market analysis
• Develop and use a systematic approach to rental sales calls
• Utilize CRM, with updates on customer leads/relations

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of related experience in the construction or heavy duty equipment industry preferred
• College degree preferred, but not required
• Must be an effective and articulate communicator
• Be able to develop a good and positive relationship with the customers externally and internally
• Demonstrate honest and ethical business practices
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently
• Time management and highly organized skills are necessary
• MVR that meets company's insurability standards
