Home Service Partners (HSP) is a dynamic company that owns multiple HVAC businesses, and we are leading the charge in reshaping the home services industry. As part of our continued growth, we are excited to add a skilled Master Electrician to our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and develop our new electrical service line in collaboration with the President of HSP, working across our brands to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction.

As a Master Electrician, you will oversee all aspects of electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, primarily in residential settings with some commercial projects. You will play a key role in establishing this new service line, leveraging your expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service.

Salary: $75,000- $100,000/year + Bonus

Location: Metro-Detroit Area + Mid-Michigan (Frankenmuth and surrounding areas)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Interpret and adhere to blueprints, technical specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective, cost-efficient solutions.
  • Mentor and supervise junior electricians and apprentices, ensuring work is performed to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, builders, and clients to plan and execute electrical projects.
  • Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and time required for electrical projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical regulations.
  • Respond to emergency electrical calls and provide prompt, professional service.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports, logs, and inspection results.

Qualifications:

  • Current Master Electrician license in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical trade.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in training and mentoring team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in both residential and commercial electrical projects.
  • Additional certifications, such as energy efficiency or advanced automation systems.
  • Knowledge of smart home technologies and energy-saving solutions.

Work Environment:

  • Work involves exposure to varying temperatures, confined spaces, and elevated work areas.
