Master Gardner / Permaculture Expert Fortuna Ranch Farm Sanctuary We live in Olivenhain, Encinitas on 2.5 acres that is an animal farm sanctuary and permaculture farm. We are a nonprofit as well. Position Overview: Looking for a master gardener / permaculture expert. Must: Have experience with high variety organic gardening and permaculture. Knowledge of how to compost. Willing to work in gardens and landscaping. Position Details: Part-time position with a minimum of 4 hours a week. Depending on the projects, it can be 8 hours a week or more. Type of Work: Gardens: Plant seasonal gardens, upkeep and harvesting, work on water catchment systems, prune trees, dehydrate food. Landscape: General landscape maintenance including pulling weeds, checking sprinklers, spreading mulch, etc. Requirements: Shared Sanctuary Values Strong Work Ethic Honest, Ethical, Trustworthy, Organized Pay: $25 per hour.
