General Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Broadcast Operations including setting up, controlling and monitoring television broadcast equipment to transmit television programs and commercials to the viewing audience
On-air switching, dubbing and transferring programs
Gathering satellite feeds for broadcast use
Support the production of newscasts and other live or taped programming for television and multi-platform use
Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
At least two years of broadcast or video experience who have demonstrated the ability to perform accurately under pressure of television operations control.
Must have developed and displayed responsible work habits with minimal supervision. Work shift includes overnights, weekends and holidays.
Technical Skills: television equipment operation experience, automation systems, tape and disk based video servers, satellite controllers, video waveform and vectorscopes, master control switching and routing systems.
Proficiency with personal computers using word processing and database software a must.
