These resources are required to be either a US Citizen, or a Green Card Holder, as the end client that they will be supporting is tied into the Department of Defense, which requires the resource to be a Green Card Holder or a US Citizen. This will be a project in which the resources will be creating a POC - Proof of Concept for the end client, and will kick off ASAP and run through the middle or end of June. The resources are strongly preferred to be local to Dallas / Fort Worth, TX. They may be required to attend at least one onsite client visit for the initial client facing meeting. If you identify a resource that is not local to Dallas but would be willing to travel for the onsite client meeting, we will still consider them as the remainder of the project will be completed remotely.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Functional Expert to join our team and work with a leading customer in the defense and aerospace industry. The successful candidate will have a strong functional background in SAP MDG, with a focus on Vendor Master data, and a proven track record of configuring rules, defining processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective data governance solutions. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess technical expertise to integrate SAP MDG with non-SAP environments, specifically Costpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- MDG expert(s) to build out a Proof of Concept - Configure base rules, connect to non-sap system Costpoint, demo data governance effort on Vendor Master
- Collaborate with the customer to understand their current master data landscape and establish the best practices for data governance.
- Design and configure SAP MDG solutions to meet the customer's requirements, focusing on Vendor Master data.
- Define and implement processes for data validation, enrichment, and standardization.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Participate in the proof of concept (PoC) phase, providing guidance and expertise to ensure a successful demo by the end of May.
- Provide leadership and expertise during the PoC phase and in the ongoing larger program.
- Conduct at least one site visit to collaborate with the customer and gain a better understanding of their operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain the highest level of data security.
- US citizenship or a Green Card is required (US Persons only).
- Extensive experience with SAP MDG, particularly in Vendor Master data governance.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while being available for at least one site visit.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing high expectations and delivering results under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with integration between SAP and non-SAP environments, particularly Costpoint, is highly desirable.
- SAP MDG for defining and configuring rules, data modeling, and setting up governance processes for Vendor Master data
- Expertise with SAP ERP, as MDG typically interacts with various SAP modules, such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
- Knowledge of integration tools or middleware for connecting SAP MDG to non-SAP systems, such as Costpoint
- Understanding of data migration and data loading processes using tools like SAP Data Services, LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)
