MDM Business Analyst

Softworld, a KELLY company, is helping their client, a dynamic consulting firm focused on leveraging data for better decision-making.

On their behalf, we’re looking for a skilled MDM Business Analyst for 1-1.5-year implementation projects.

Job Title: MDM Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX or San Jose, CA

Onsite, Monday - Friday

40 hrs/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in strategy and implementation projects using agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Plan workstreams, manage risks, and resolve outstanding issues.
• Collaborate on requirements definition and solution design, documenting use cases and business requirements.
• Research market trends and propose best practices, gathering insights through interviews and workshops.
• Communicate business requirements to technical teams and assist in feasibility assessments.
• Help define and implement data governance frameworks.
• Deliver demos of working software to clients, gathering feedback to ensure requirements are met.
• Verify that development outputs meet specifications through testing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology or project management field.
• 5+ years of experience in business system analysis and functional architecture.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) implementation projects (1-2 preferred).
• Familiarity with Reltio is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud data ingestion and data warehousing tools.
• Experience in data modeling is expected.
• 2+ years in a business context (consulting or industry), with a preference for experience at a major consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG).
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage project scope.
• Proficient in tools like Jira and Confluence, and familiar with project management methodologies.
• Local to Austin or San Jose.
