Job Description
Do you excel working as a Business Analyst and can bolster our client's ventures within the Asset Management for Hardware Lifecycle Management space. Do you possess robust data analytical abilities, a track record of collaborating with IT and business teams, adeptness in technical documentation, and business acumen necessary for supporting client technology deployments. Are you an expert in using Smartsheet to capture and report on demand, forecasts, inventory, financials, analytics, and purchasing information?
The Skills You Bring
- Reviews and analyzes business and system requirements in support of implementing forecast solutions.
- Conducts requirements and systems analysis, supporting design and data preparation for development of Smartsheet solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting to automate repetitive tasks within Smartsheet or between platforms.
- Acts as a liaison by working with multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies and requirements for the IT organization.
- Responsible for ensuring unique business needs that are properly translated to functional specifications and supported by the system solution.
- Organizes and documents complex information effectively.
- Facilitates end-user adoption by delivering effective training and clear, consistent communication.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Collects and analyzes the necessary data and key elements to support the implementation of software solutions including dashboards and data analysis trend tracking.
The Expertise You Have
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience.
- Expert level use of Smartsheet.
- Mastery of Smartsheet's features such as formulas, conditional formatting, automated workflows, and cell linking.
- Proficiency in building complex sheets, dashboards, reports, and templates.
- Knowledge of scripting to automate repetitive tasks within Smartsheet or between platforms.
- Advanced skills in creating comprehensive reports and visualizations within Smartsheet.
- Understanding how to structure data for optimal reporting and decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working in a consulting environment.
- Experience in data analysis, functional/technical design, data normalization, and user acceptance testing.
- Minimum 3 years in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint).
