Manufacturing Engineer

$80 - $95K + 3.5-7% quarterly bonus

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the machining industry looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer! This role includes a 6% 401K match, unlimited PTO, and a wellness program. This person will spend 70% of their time on the shop floor, working with machinists and troubleshooting. The remaining 30% will be writing procedures, creating standards, improving processes, and doing documentation.

Must have’s:

· 5+ years in Machining with a degree

.  8+ years in Machining without a degree

· Proficient in CNC machining – most importantly how to create a part from scratch & being involved with the process of running a piece for the first time

· CNC Lathe experience and some CNC Mill

· Programming CNC Machines in a CAM software

· Proficient GD&T – this person must come from a highly precise industry.

Nice to haves:

· Experience overseeing the whole manufacturing process from start to finish.

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Understanding of CNC Tooling

· Created or made improvements to the manufacturing process.

· Experience in the Aerospace industry

· CAD and ERP experience
