How you will do it:
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineer in the design and optimization of manufacturing processes and layout for sheet metal fabrication to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to the buildup of new production cells and generate technical documentation for production processes.
  • Maintain and improve existing manufacturing methods to support Johnson Controls' capacity expansion plans.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, CI, and Quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of fabrication processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to sheet metal fabrication.
What we look for:
  • 3-5 Years relative work experience in high volume sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience with CNC machines, laser cutting, and bending processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint are a plus
