Position Summary:

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer II will design and evaluate necessary equipment and tooling for the optimum production of industrial and consumer goods. The individual in this role will oversee production installation, operation, maintenance and repair of such equipment. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer II will perform work measurement for the establishment of standards, work closely with other engineering disciplines in the design and application of new products, and oversee implementing new products into production. This Engineer will help mentor other Manufacturing Engineers with less experience.

Objectives

  1. Design and/or acquire necessary equipment and tooling for the optimum production of industrial and consumer goods.
  2. Assist and recommend action to control cost of tooling and control cost of manufacturing procedures.
  3. Determine and recommend equipment upgrade and replacement costs.
  4. Provide technical information and assistance in maintaining production machines and equipment.
  5. Assist and help train production personnel in the operation and proper care of machines and equipment.
  6. Assist other Manufacturing Engineers in tool and equipment layouts and development.
  7. Assist in maintaining ISO Quality Standards plant-wide.


Requirements:

Education:Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Experience:10+ years of Manufacturing Engineer experience

Special Training:Prior experience in high volume production machining operations, CNC Programming, tooling, and fixture design preferred. Specific skills and experience in addition to those listed above may be required for specific positions.
