Inside Sales Representative- Manufacturing Job at Ontech Talent in New Berlin

This position is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs and for closing the sales and meeting goals, both with new and existing customers. The ISR will be the main point of sales and technical contact on the inside for our new and existing customers.

Responsibilities and Functions:

· Communicate with customers via phone, email and on occasion in person.

· Develop a relationship with customers, understanding their needs and identify sales opportunities.

· Responsible for responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner and following up on all quotes, orders, and sales leads.

· Upsells products and services to customers.

· Assists outside sales and account managers as needed to grow sales.

· Reviews history of accounts and works to get more business from existing customers.

· Answers technical questions from customers and acts as liaison between other departments and customers.

· Works to achieve department and personal goals and sales numbers.

· Uses marketing tools to increase our value to our customers and to increase sales with that customer.

· Works directly with customers to access, describe solutions, define products, and create quotes.

· Effectively uses CRM to provide updated information and competitive intelligence with our customers.

· Travels as required to meet customers.

Work Environment

In this position the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles when visiting the plant floor. The noise level in the environment can be loud, hearing protection is provided and may be mandatory in certain areas. Physical requirements are as follows: the employee is required to talk, see and hear, is frequently required to sit, stand, walk and use a computer and phone. Required Education and Experience:

· Associate degree in business related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.

· 2 + years of inside sales experience

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Engaging and goal-oriented personality.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
