Volt is immediately hiring for multiple 2nd shift Structured Package Mechanics  in DeSoto, Texas.   

As a Structured Package Mechanic you will assist with:

  • Overhauls, modifies, repairs, reworks, balances, machines, tests, inspects, and/or fits reworked or new parts into a gas turbine assembly
We are hiring for 2nd shift; 1pm – 9:30pm. May be required to train on 1st shift for a few weeks.  Lots of overtime available (up to 10 - 12 hour days and weekends). Positions are temp to hire with a large, reputable company offering stability and long term growth.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • 2+ years hands-on any mechanical or automotive and/or turbo-machinery experience
  • Experience with hand tools, primarily pneumatic tools
  • Ideal experience but not required: Engine Mechanic or Aviation Mechanic or Automotive Technician or Diesel Technician or Tire Technicians or anything mechanical
Pay Rate: $17-20/hr

** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
