As an Administrative Specialist, you will:
  • Process driver MVR (motor vehicle record) checks.
  • Maintain UST (underground storage tank) system (record keeping and fuel ordering).
  • Process internal billings and evaluate transactions.
  • Manage interdepartmental transfer items and online auction items.
  • License and title University vehicles.
  • Process toll charges.
  • Maintain Voyager credit card system, and order new or replacement cards.
  • Assist in processing vehicle accident reports.
  • Order bulk fuel for other departments.
  • Maintain office supply inventory.
  • Process daily rental vehicle requests and/or answer phone for vehicle dispatch.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience of administrative office support.
  • Good analytical thinking and reasoning skills
  • Thoroughness and high attention to detail
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledgeable in utilizing a database
  • Able to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirement

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Accounting, Office Management, Office Technology, Automotive Technology, Information Systems Technology, Public Administration, or other related field of study or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 1+ year experience in automotive rental office management.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing SAP .
  • Data base report writer (Oracle, Crystal Reports, Global Report Writer, SQL , etc.)
  • Familiar with or experience using Excel, Access, or SQL database
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Travel agent certification
  • Nebraska underground storage tank operator certification
