Responsibilities
  1. Tenant Relations and Communication:

  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants.

  • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs.

  • Maintain accurate records of leases, amendments, and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and policies.
  • Prepare leasing documents as needed.

  • Assist property managers with day-to-day tasks.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and follow up on action items.

Administrative Duties:

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, property tours, and inspections.
  • Maintain organized files for properties and tenants.
  • Handle general office tasks such as answering phones and managing correspondence.
Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare compliance reports and assist in audits.
  • Manage documentation for insurance and certifications.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Background:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field is a plus).
  • Key Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, AppFolio).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years in property management, real estate, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Familiarity with lease contracts and legal terms.
  • Certifications:
  • Certification in property management (e.g., CPM, RPA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
