Job Description:

Rural community hospital seeks RN to deliver excellent care to our patients! In this role, we offer schedule flexibility, no floating to other departments and no on call hours. We do work with staff in holiday scheduling rotations. You are free to wear any solid color scrubs and a solid color lab coat. RN staff is supported with lab and EMT technicians.

13 weeks assignment, 2 years’ experience current required in large ED. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelersthat do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.

EMR: EPIC experience REQUIRED.

SHIFTS: This is a 12 hour varied shift position 1900 or 0700 start time ). Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call 1-12 hour shifts/ 4 weeks, weekends minimum 3 shifts/ 4 weeks and holidays at least one required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

ORIENTATION: The first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

SCRUBS: Required and not provided by the facility.
