Opportunity for an RN to work PRN as a Trauma Program Registrar!
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Promotes optimal care of the trauma patient through the clinical program and administrative functions.
- Actively involved in the state EMS and trauma system
- Responsible for data collection, both abstracting and analyzing, data entry, and data completion of the trauma patient population. This position assists with projects under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager as indicated.
Qualifications:
Education:
- RN with current Colorado license required.
- ADN Required
Skills:
- ACLS, TNCC, PALs/ENPC, BLS Certification/Registration required.
- CEN, TCRN Certification/Registration preferred.
- Expertise in Trauma Care.
- Excellence in clinical care as noted on evaluation.
Experience:
- Minimum of Associate Degree in health-related field or equivalent work experience of at least two years or with strong emphasis on data integrity and analysis is preferred.
- Medical terminology is essential.
- Trauma experience, AIS/ISS, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding familiarity is highly recommended.
SALARY RANGE:
- $32.68 to $48.06/hour +14% PRN Differential Pay.
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
