Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and/or Registered Nurses (RN) to join our nursing team in Waelder, TX. As a Staff Nurse, you'll play a critical role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients, including conducting assessments, administering care, and managing both medical and psychiatric needs in collaboration with our medical providers.
Position Details:- Schedule: Full-time, night shift availability is strongly preferred.
- Location: Waelder, TX 78959 (On-site).
- Provide nursing services tailored to each patient.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and deliver routine care.
- Review medication logs, assist in medical and psychiatric management, and ensure compliance with protocols.
- Facilitate medication education and integrate nursing considerations into individualized treatment plans.
- Document meticulously, adhering to facility and state requirements.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of discipline-specific principles and practices.
- Adhere to the Healthcare Code of Ethics and understand Joint Commission standards.
- Comply with state and federal regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Assess mental health, trauma, and other relevant conditions competently.
- Apply experience in acute care, detox, and/or mental health settings.
- Exhibit excellent assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
- Show exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain an empathetic and patient-centered approach.
- An active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited school.
- Experience as a Staff Nurse in a detox setting is strongly preferred.
- Work experience in the field of behavioral or mental health treatment.
