APEX is looking for a highly skilled Welding Instructor to teach hands-on work with a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience required. You supply the skills and we supply everything else, even the tools!
MUST be vaccinated against COVID-19. Required to provide documentation during Onboarding process.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain good safety practice throughout the workday
· Conduct and effectively manage daily workload
· Interpret and layout projects according to specifications
· Manage and organize training resources effectively
· Knows the fundamentals of different welding techniques
· Evaluate and conduct tests to determine the soundness/quality of welds
· Maintain good recordkeeping
Qualifications
· Basic knowledge of the American Welding Society's welding symbols
· Experienced with the different welding tools, equipment, and procedures
· Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
· Minimum 3 years of experience
· High school diploma
