Summary:
As a Welding Instructor at Hero Welding School, you will play a crucial role in training and mentoring students in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of welding experience, possess expert knowledge in welding processes, and demonstrate proficiency in reading symbols and blueprints. Certification and a diploma in Welding or a related field are required.
Responsibilities:
- Teach students the fundamentals of welding safety, emphasizing personal and environmental safety protocols.
- Instruct and demonstrate welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Provide guidance on welding tips, tricks, and best practices to enhance student learning and skill development.
- Teach welding at different angles, thicknesses, and speeds to prepare students for real-world applications.
- Create and deliver lesson plans that are engaging, informative, and aligned with industry standards.
- Assess student progress through practical assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their welding skills and techniques.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Stay current with advancements in welding technology and techniques to continuously enhance teaching methods.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional welding experience.
- Expert knowledge in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to interpret welding symbols and blueprints (preferred).
- Welding certification (e.g., CWB) and a diploma in Welding or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels.
- Commitment to promoting safety practices and adherence to welding standards.
- Proof of completions certification
