Warehouse Supervisor Overview: Step into a leadership role where you'll drive warehouse efficiency, safety, and organization As the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory, shipments, and operational procedures in partnership with the Warehouse Manager. Maximize space utilization and optimize workflows for peak efficiency. Enforce compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (GMPs, HARPC, etc.). Train and lead staff on procedures, best practices, and company policies. Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure a clean, functional workplace. Schedule tasks, monitor progress, and address challenges to meet operational goals. Motivate the team and recommend improvements for workflow, equipment, and productivity. Assist with hiring, evaluations, promotions, and team development. Additional Duties: Serve as a backup for the Warehouse Manager when needed. Champion food safety initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Promote workplace safety and address any risks proactively. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma/GED, forklift certification, and at least 6 months of logistics or warehouse experience, including prior supervisory roles. Preferred: College education in supply chain/logistics or 2 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
