Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management:

   • Oversee the daily operations of the client’s warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
   • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to achieve operational objectives.

2. Inventory Management:

   • Handle the recording and maintaining of inventory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
   • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

3. Import/Export Advisory:

   • Advise on the receipt of imported goods and the dispatch of exported items.
   • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding imports and exports.

4. Staff Training and Development:

   • Train new warehouse workers on operational procedures and safety protocols.
   • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement development programs to enhance team efficiency.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure that all warehouse operations adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Reporting and Communication:

   • Prepare and present operational reports to management as required.
   • Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, with a track record of effective staff supervision.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
• Experience with import and export processes and regulations is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff while ensuring adherence to performance standards.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Capability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions.
