Job Title: MEP Supervisor Location: Aventura, FL (with project site in West Palm Beach, FL) Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 per year (commensurate with experience) About the Company: Our client, a well-established general contractor based in Aventura, FL, is currently seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to join their team for a large-scale, mixed-use commercial project in West Palm Beach. The company specializes in a wide range of projects including condominiums, hotels, apartments, and high-rise buildings, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects, they are looking for an MEP professional who can manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations across their diverse project portfolio. Position Overview: As an MEP Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the MEP systems on various high-profile construction projects. This includes supervising MEP subcontractors, managing the installation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems, and ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the daily operations of MEP trades and subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to the project schedule and budget. Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project. Review and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion. Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP construction management, with at least 2 years in a Superintendent role. Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects (high-rise experience is preferred). Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and local building codes. Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work collaboratively with other project stakeholders. OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training required.
