Job Description:
This Is Voice is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Entry Level Events Assistant to join our team. The Events Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, helping ensure each event runs smoothly and meets high standards. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn the ins and outs of event management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and logistics for events, including sourcing venues, coordinating with vendors, and managing supplies.
- Support on-site event operations, helping with setup, registration, guest management, and post-event breakdown.
- Assist in coordinating event timelines, ensuring each part of the event process is executed efficiently.
- Track and manage event-related materials, such as guest lists, schedules, and promotional items.
- Communicate with vendors, attendees, and team members to ensure seamless event operations.
- Help prepare event reports and summaries, providing insights for future improvements.
- Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, scheduling, and managing event supplies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certification in event planning is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including vendors, clients, and internal team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
