Utilization Review Nurse (Remote)
For the Utilization Review (UR) contract, this position performs a clinical review to evaluate the medical necessity for requested medical/surgical procedures, out of state admissions and reviews for the Severe, Disabling, Mental Illness contract. This position is also responsible for providing back-up review for durable medical equipment (DME) and provides back-up for other clinical review activities under this contract.Why Work at Mountain Pacific?

This position is a Full-time Remote position. The successful candidate would have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. An associate of science or bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Montana with a minimum of 4 years' experience in acute care, nursing home, utilization review, and/or quality review preferred or related experience. The target compensation for this position is $33.00 an hour. The first review of candidates will be on November 19, 2024, and continually reviewed every 5 days after.
