AWHONN's fetal heart monitoring courses do not lead to an advanced EFM certification. Job Description: - Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.- Utilize the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and family.- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, reporting pertinent patient/family information.- Participate in developing solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions.- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and analytical abilities needed to formulate effective nursing care plans within assigned units or departments.- Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
