Acme Underground is looking for qualified Operators with specific experience in Underground Utilities such as; Utility Sewer mains, Water mains, storm-drain pipes, NV energy electrical conduit and facility work and Century Link conduit work.
We're looking for individuals who have experience with various types of equipment including but not limited to;
- Operators need 5+ years experience in Underground Utility Work and have the ability to operate ALL Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steers and backhoes owned by the company. Must have OSHA 30 card, and a clean DMV record. Operators must know and understand safe trenching operations, proper trench backfill operations and have the ability to properly complete daily maintenance of heavy equipment they operate. Operators must have the Ability to operate the equipment safely and efficiently in often tight and congested areas around other equipment and employees on the ground.
- Excavator Operators MUST have skills reading blue prints and understand utility layout and utility staking in the field. Must know how to read grade stakes and use grade checking equipment such as levels or lasers. Excavator operators must have the ability to safely dig around underground utilities and understand all practical 811 digging procedures.
- Loader Operators must know how to handle pipe on a project with forks, must have the ability to process Native and Type II backfill materials and also know how to properly screen backfill materials. Loader operators must also be able to keep the floor clean and work areas flat.
- Backhoe operators MUST have skills reading blue prints and understand utility layout and utility staking in the field.
